Forrester Terms CSC as "Leader" in BI Services
Bangalore: CSC has announced that it has been identified as a “Leader” in the October 18, 2012, Forrester Research report, “The Forrester Wave: Business Intelligence Services Providers, Q4 2012.” This report by Boris Evelson and Liz Herbert along with Chris Andrews and Shannon Coyne states that in Forrester's 53-criteria evaluation of BI services providers; they found 12 elite Leaders that offer strong choices for BI services buyers: Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, CSC, Deloitte, HP, Infosys, KPMG, IBM, PwC, TCS, and Wipro.
It evaluated 12 BI services vendors across 53 criteria that assessed their strengths and weaknesses in the areas of current offerings, strategies and market presence. CSC was identified as a “Leader” in both the strategy evaluation and the technology evaluation.
According to the report, “The business intelligence (BI) services market has evolved significantly.” In addition, Forrester indicates that BI continues to top all charts in terms of interest among IT professionals. The report noted that “CSC’s strategy and advisory services are strongest in industries such as financial services, life sciences/healthcare, energy, defense, retail, and automotive industries. Given its large global footprint of infrastructure, CSC is a strong choice for clients that want a partner that can run their infrastructure as well, including virtualized models and cloud and traditional hosting and managed services.”
