Bangalore: Gravity of Big Data has already been recognized by the corporations. Kay Ewbank on i-programmer.info states that businesses mid to large sizes are putting Big Data into operations in the upcoming years. The firms involved in marketing, sales and customer care are showing keen interest in the big data projects and its implementation. The companies are investing on Big Data projects. The research by Microsoft shows that the IT department is driving most of the demand for Big Data and also found out that most of the companies have kept out budget for Big Data projects after seeing the functionality and leverage.

Since corporations have been bombarded with new devices, applications and cloud, the term Big Data came into being. Due to the accumulation of such enormous amount of data, the analysis became difficult with the traditional tools. Utilizing the data into inferring something useful like predictive analysis; challenged the companies on how to manage and decipher such enormous volume of complex data. The trends are likely to double the amount of data in the coming years. This means the investment will be largely on gathering and analyzing the Big Data. This info graphic by Microsoft will present a better understanding of the above stated.
