Banking BI / Analytics Specialist iCreate Software Achieves ISO 27001 Certification on Information Security

Banking Business Intelligence / Analytics specialist, iCreate Software announced the successful completion of its ISO 27001 certification process recently. ISO 27001 (ISO/IEC 27001) is a global security standard that sets out requirements for an Information Security Management System. In order to achieve the certification, a company must show it has a systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive company and customer information. ISO 27001 is considered to be the foundation of information security management and the certification was provided by NQA - one of the world's leading management system registrars.
iCreate followed all the four phases as prescribed by the accreditation body to achieve this standard. This included the Planning phase which involved planning the basic organization of information security and setting objectives towards this; the "Do" phase which involved executing all that was chalked out in the planning phase; the "Check" phase which validates if the results meet the set objectives and finally the "Act" phase where everything that emerged as non-compliant in the previous phases is improved upon.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajani Kanth, Head-IT, iCreate said, "As a Business Intelligence and Analytics solution provider for the banking industry, iCreate has been committed to safeguarding information and intellectual property assets of our clients. The ISO 27001 certification provides us with a strong enabling framework to build and deliver our solutions in an information-secure environment. iCreate Software has implemented the prescribed ISO standards to ensure a secure ecosystem that enables it to protect its intellectual properties and assets, meet contractual security obligations and establish a robust risk assessment/treatment framework.
