Company Profile
I started my carrier as a civil engineer (Grade VII) and came up the ladder to Grade II. I achieved it by sheer hard work, devotion, dedication, learning, sharing and over and above keeping a role model who was the Executive Director of the company I was working in 1982. When an imported and important machine give some problem and was not starting he went under the machine in shop floor suit and came out successfully after 16 hrs non-stop working underneath!
Scaling up the ladder
I came up the ladder and was Team Leader for major infrastructure projects. Now, at the age of 63 yrs., I have taken up a contractual job as Sr.Quality & Material Expert. It is because (1) the project is near my home town and (ii) I could not shoulder the responsibility of team leader at my age.
Advice from my end
It
needs grit, determination and non-egoistic approach to professional
life. Learn all the tricks of your trade. Then only one can command and
cannot be taken for a ride. it Keep a goal and keep trying to reach it.
I was drawing Rs.385/- pm in 1974 and reached Rs.140,000 in 2011.
